Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Nest Content collects, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

Nest Content is a trading name of Robin Da Silva Laires Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12824864), registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: robin@nestcontent.com.

2. What we collect

  • When you contact us, book a call or become a client: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your business details and what we discuss.
  • When you use our free tools: the website address you enter and, if you ask for the full report, your email address.
  • When you buy a paid tool upgrade: the details needed to take payment.
  • When you work with us: the account access you give us and the information in those accounts that we need to do the work.
  • When you visit the site: how you use it, through cookies and similar tools (see section 5).

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to you, run the call you booked and send you what you asked for, such as a tool report.
  • To do the work you hired us for and to invoice you.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To send occasional follow-up emails about our services. You can opt out at any time.

We rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing it; our legitimate interest in running and improving our business; and your consent for non-essential cookies.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell personal information. We use these services to run the business, and they process information on our behalf:

  • Hosting, delivery and storage: Render, Cloudflare, Turso.
  • Email: Zoho Mail, Resend.
  • Call booking: Cal.com.
  • Live chat: Crisp.
  • Sign-in for existing accounts: Clerk.
  • Payments: Stripe.
  • Internal notifications when someone requests a report: Telegram.
  • Site analytics: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Umami, Contentsquare.
  • Advertising measurement: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) pixel.
  • Our free tools: when you check a website, its address is used to read the site (Firecrawl) and to ask AI and search services about it (DataForSEO, OpenRouter).

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens, they use safeguards recognised under UK law, such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Cookies

We ask before using analytics and advertising cookies. Until you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads run without cookies, and the Meta pixel and Contentsquare don't load. Umami counts visits without cookies. Sign-in and chat use the cookies they need to work.

. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 2 years.
  • Client records and invoices: 6 years, for accounting.
  • Tool reports: up to 12 months.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, ask us to stop or limit how we use it, object to it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email robin@nestcontent.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8. Children

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
